The Villas de Mer are located on the south coast of Praslin, next to the island's longest beach, Grand Anse. This stunning beach is exceptionally soft, and slopes gently into the waters of the Indian Ocean. Restaurants and shopping facilities can also be found nearby, contributing to the hotel's top location. The Villas de Mer lie next to Praslin's stunning Grand Anse, on the south-west coast of the island, ensuring a fantastic view for guests of the beach, the ocean, and Cousin and Cousine island. The recently-refurbished accommodation offers a restaurant, large pool, and 12 rooms, 10 superior rooms and 2 junior suites, spread across 3 buildings. The estate's main building has also been refurbished, but still maintains its traditional plantation style. Each suite contains a spacious, air-conditioned double bedroom. Additionally, there is a comfortable seating area, a private veranda with ground-level exit, and a large bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Also present in every suite are ceiling fans (in addition to the air-conditioning), tea and coffee-making facilities, a mini bar, a safe, and modern furnishings. All of the rooms were refurbished in 2011 using solid wood furniture from Bali, so are in great condition. Near the resort's main building, guests can find a beach restaurant that offers exquisite Creole and international cuisine.
