Torel Palace, means two historic mansions dating back to 1902 and 1904, owned by a private family and the church respectively. Situated on the Colina Sant´Ana in the very heart of Lisbon, Torel Palace looks over the city centre, a hidden gem and calm paradise in the hustle and bustle of the city. Torel Palace, means a lovingly renovated, elegant yet cozy home for visitors from all over the world. From our garden with pool and the terraces you can enjoy breath-taking views over the city centre all the way to the river Tejo. When renovating, we took great care in keeping the character of the buildings while at the same time ensuring a modern touch and comfort with specific attention to detail. The woman behind Torel Palace Lisbon's inspiring design concept is Isabel Sá Nogueira. When she first visited the place, she was completely fascinated, not only with the building but also with the view over the city and the Tagus River. The theme of queens and kings consolidated the concept of decoration. Isabel wanted to make known to future guests the idea of what a house of this type was like in Portugal. Private, intimate, warm and full of stories. With a very special garden and pool, thus providing a unique experience for all our visitors from all over the world.
