Torel Avantgarde is an Award-winning five-star art boutique hotel in the centre of Porto. Inspired by the Avantgarde years, the design of the hotel is reminiscent of the elegance of the 1930s/40s, while at the same time celebrating contemporary portuguese art, design and craftsmanship. Each of our 47 rooms and suites is dedicated to an avantgarde artist and designed individually. The Torel Avantgarde is a new five star boutique hotel in Porto. The concept of Avantgarde is based on the building, which dates back to the New-State period, ie the 1940s. Like avant-garde artists, we set out to create something completely new, with the goal of establishing a place where art is not only a complement, but the focus of attention in every way.
