General description:
The hotel Sunshine Crete Beach is located in the vicinity of a shingle beach. At the beach, there are sun umbrellas free of charge. The tourist centre is about 8 km away. The town Ierapetra is around 8 km away. Shopping facilities are located approx.8 km from the hotel. For mobility there is a bus stop (approx. 100 m away). For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 8 km away.

Hygiene and safety measures
In order to protect the health of the guests, the following hygiene and protective measures are taken in the hotel: Compliance of the WHO recommendations and local laws, trained and equipped staff with hygiene and protection measures, adapted capacities and flows in common areas to ensure social distancing, hand sanitizer available in all areas, intense cleaning and disinfection protocols for all areas, elevator occupancy control measures, intensification control in chlorination levels and disinfection protocols for pools as well as clean and sanitized rooms.

Amenities:
Recently renovated in 2012, the 4-storey beach hotel has 219 rooms. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby, 2 lifts, air conditioning, coiffeur, a mini market, discotheque (open from 23:00 – 02:00) and a free parking area. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. Laundry service and medical service are available for a fee.

Pool:
In the outdoor area of the hotel you will find 2 pools with a children´s pool. Here, there are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for free available.

Meals:
Breakfast (from 07:00 – 10:00) from the buffet. All inclusive: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch and dinner only in selected restaurants or bars. Coffee & tea (16:00 – 17:00), small snacks (12:30 – 16:00), national alcoholic drinks (10:00 – 18:00), late riser’s breakfast (10:00 – 10:30) and one meal in the a la carte restaurant.
