The PortoBay group is a hotel chain comprising 15 hotels: 11 in Portugal (7 on the island of Madeira, 1 in the Algarve, 2 in Lisbon and 2 in Porto) and 3 in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, Búzios and São Paulo), which have a total of around 3,350 beds in the 4 and 5-star market segment.

All the hotels have different concepts, but are similar in terms of quality, and all carry the guarantee of the PortoBay brand.

This slogan reflects the meaning of the PortoBay Group’s origins on the Portuguese island of Madeira, and its expansion to territories tied to the Atlantic. Our brand’s presence in Portugal and Brazil has helped rekindle the memory of our Atlantic expansion and discoveries.

The group’s growth is a result of choosing the best locations – in urban and resort environments alike – as demonstrated by periodic guest questionnaires. Together with recommendations from friends, the location of our hotels is another key reason why first-time visitors choose us.

There is an extensive sandy beach at the foot of the PortoBay Falésia, in the Algarve.
With direct access to Praia da Falésia beach, the 310 rooms are surrounded by swimming pools, abundant green spaces, lovely views of the reddish rocks, sun, comfort and good cuisine. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and Spa offer the chance to relax.

The rooms facing the sea enjoy a sublime view over the extensive beach at Falésia, the green of the pines and the red cliffs typical of the Algarve. The mattresses and mattress toppers, with a total height of 35 cm, the tea and coffee-making facilities and free wi-fi all ensure the comfort associated with the PortoBay Group.

We have options for families of more than 3 people, and rooms adapted for reduced mobility or special situations.
