This Mary y Sol Spa and Sport Hotel is a completely wheelchair-accessible hotel. This pool is the favourite amongst our sportier swimmers.Both pools are equipped with a hoist and easy to use steps with handrails to help the elderly and the disabled gain access to the pool.The therapy pool (5,70 m x 10,70m) has a depth rising from 50 cm to 90 cm and is equipped with handrails along one side for the purpose of walking therapy. The water temperature in this pool is also kept between approximately 22 ºC and 25º C.The pool area is equipped with a large number of sun-beds that have been specially designed for the Mar y Sol. Their height allows wheelchair-users to transfer onto the sun-beds with ease and the large sunshades and palm trees offer shelter from the sun.Facilites include a buffet restaurant, pool bar, kids club and a sport centre. The TeraLava fitness club offers a gym with personal training programmes or adapted physical training for the handicapped or elderly.The fully wheelchair-accessible sports hall is right in the hotel where you can participate in basketball, wheelchair-rugby, electric wheelchair hockey and two badminton courts. Corresponding baskets, goals and nets have also been installed. The sports hall provides space for several table-tennis tables, including the corresponding barriers around them. Sports equipment such as balls, rackets, scoreboards and audio facilities are also available.There is a team of activity organisers and physiotherapists, who work 5 days a week, both to entertain and offer a fitness programme to everyone.Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am.Please note that some facilities may have a local charge.
