Location
Matagorda is a delightful little village on Lanzarote’s south-eastern coast, a volcanic splodge in the Canary Islands. It began as a suburb of Puerto del Carmen, the island’s liveliest town, but it now stands on its own, with a two-tiered complex of restaurants and bars centred around a charming town square. There are also waterside bars. The island’s biggest attractions are within striking distance, and the bustling centre of Arrecife is close by.

There are two swimming pools in the complex, which are surrounded by sun terraces with complementary loungers, parasols, and a panoramic solarium perfect for those lazy days in the sun. Bicycle rental and hiking trip activities are available, or for those who prefer to stay closer to ‘home,’ there is a multi-sports court, tennis court, and a varied daytime and evening entertainment programme available onsite. Food and Drink

The complex is made up of modern Studios and Apartments spread over various traditionally designed buildings with no more than two levels. All rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, a TV, a telephone, and a large outside terrace. A kitchenette, a living area, and a safe are all included in the apartments. Please keep in mind that Studios do not have kitchen amenities and can sleep up to three people. One-bedroom apartments sleep up to four people, while two-bedroom apartments sleep up to five people.
