The 4-star Alua Illa de Menorca is a modern hotel located just 400 metres from the sea in S’Algar and close to the island’s most beautiful coves. It provides a broad range of activities for adults and children both during the day and at night.

Location
S’Algar is located at the south-east corner of Menorca, close by to Punta Prima. It was one of the Balearic Islands’ first purpose-built resorts, but despite its age, it really has managed to keep its calm, fishing village roots. Aside from a few low-rise hotels and villas that surround a palm-lined waterfront, not much has changed.

Amenities, Sports & Entertainment
Tennis, paddle tennis, trips, bowls, golf practise area, cycling, and other sports are available in the surrounding area. A well-trained team organises everything to ensure that you enjoy any of these activities. There is a large hall on the ground floor with a conference and TV room, a spot to relax and play cards, the main restaurant (buffet), and the bar. There are two swimming pools, one for children, sunbathing areas, a poolside snack bar, a supermarket/boutique, and a medical centre at the hotel. All hotel guests have access to an all-inclusive sports programme.

Food and Drink
At Alua Illa de Menorca, guests can enjoy a wide range of delicious foods, from Asian to Italian, as well as a wonderful salad at our Sports Bar, or simply enjoy the rich daily buffet with a wide variety of fresh foods.

All Inclusive Option
Breakfast (08:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m.), lunch (13:00 p.m. -14:30 p.m.), and dinner (19:00 p.m. -21:30 p.m.) are all served buffet style at the main restaurant. During breakfast, juices, coffee, milk, and tea are available; during lunch and supper, soft drinks, beers, water, and wine are available. Guests can also use the La Pasta Italian restaurant for a menu meal (12:30 pm. -15:00 pm.), the Sporting snack bar for lunch and dinner, and the Asia restaurant for dinner once per stay with a reservation (50m away). Water, beer, wine, spirits, and other locally manufactured alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks and ice cream (10:00 a.m. -23:00 p.m.), are offered at the lobby bar (10:00 a.m. -23:00 p.m.), the El Chiringuito (11:00 a.m. -18:00 p.m.), and the Sporting bar.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Mountain bikes, trekking, scuba diving, kayak, sailing, snorkelling, tennis and paddle and golf are just some of the activity’s guests can get involved in on their holiday. An international animation team provides day and night entertainment. There’s a mini-club 4-10 years, a kids club 11-15 years and not to forget the shows, live music, flamenco, cabaret (during the evening).

Rooms
The hotel contains 228 rooms, six of which are junior suites, five of which are handicapped-accessible, and 12 of which are interconnecting rooms. They all have air conditioning, a terrace, a full bathroom with a hair dryer and cosmetic mirror, a TV, a phone, a safety deposit box (for a fee) and, upon request, a mini bar (local charge). Baby cots are available upon request and will count as one person in the room and not additional to the maximum occupancy.
